He doesn't attribute this to there actually being two of them or anything, just figures he didn't hit quite the right buttons this time and Soubi has turned up the chill a bit. Which is fine, as long as he doesn't treat Ritsuka any differently. I figure in the cabin Rikuou is just kind of casually familiar with him regardless?
